Another busy week at MMBC. Thanks to all the volunteers who have worked so hard this week for our Club. Heaps of work goes on behind the scenes to make MMBC the best Club possible for our members. We couldn’t do that without our volunteers. Thanks!
And we have great news! A big welcome to our new Club Manager, Ann Darby, who joined us this week and was welcomed at our Executive meeting last night.
We have owned a holiday home at Foxton Beach for six years – four years ago we made the move from Lower Hutt and became permanent residents .
Married to Craig, we have four children and three grandchildren.
Prior to starting the Club Manager role, we owned The Paper Trail retail business located in Foxton.
Keen to get stuck into my new role with the Boating Club team.
WELCOME Ann! And thanks to Paula who has covered this role for several weeks and is now training Ann to take over.
We had a very successful Spiny Dog Fishing Competition last Saturday with 89 people entered. It was a great day with lots of fish being weighed in. The results will be on the web site soon.
We are looking forward to the Mid Winter Christmas Party, this will be a fantastic night with a 2 course Christmas Dinner, Father Christmas is bound to drop in and of course the Passenger Acoustic Trio playing from 7pm. Tickets are available from the bar or from your executive members. Make this a night to remember.
