Well November hasn’t played ball with Westerlies churning up the sea, but on a positive note, it is good
to see the water surface temperature has hit 19 C. There are a few Markos cruising around along with some pods of dolphins to keep you entertained.

On a negative note, our Coastguard unit has had to retrieve two boats that overturned in the last 4 weeks coming into the bar towards low tide. Fortunately, no injuries but both boats were damaged and had to be retrieved from the beach.  The North channel is the Main channel out /in at present but there are two bars to cross with the outer bar being bigger and reasonably shallow, so again don’t X cross the bar 2 hours either side of slack water.

Entry forms for the Women’s Fishing Competition will be coming out early next week and can be accessed from the MMBC website or the club at the top of the stairs so start getting your crew organised for Sunday 19th January OR  20th January 2025.
