Fishing Coordinator’s Report February 2024 Round 2

February 10th 2024

Super quad series, part one for February.

We saw 214 entries, with a total of about 69 boats and jet skis.

The health and safety team went out to view the conditions of the bar early morning. There was not much water on the bar, but it wasn’t long after 8 am everybody started to launch.

Lots of fish and species were caught. The species will be combined for part one and part two in February for a prize on 24 February 2024.

There were about 20 entries for the three sisters competition for the day. The largest snapper on the day for the photo was 76cm long.

Thank you to all of our sponsors who have made this competition possible, also thank you to all of the volunteers who help on the day and leading up to each day.
